Of whimsical design, the flower composed of petals set with calibré-cut sapphires interspersed with old European-cut diamonds, with a bird perched on a branch of polished gold, the feathers set with calibré-cut sapphires, anchored by pear-shaped diamonds, the head set with single-cut diamonds, to a circular-cut ruby eye and gold beak, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, signed and numbered 8972.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the calibré-cut sapphires set on the flower are of medium light to medium blue colour, and those on the birds are about medium dark, intense blue colour. All sapphires are very clean to naked eyes with good brilliance. The sapphires together weighing approximately 10.00 to 12.00 carats. Diamond set amidst the flower and two pear-shaped diamonds on the tail of the bird are old-cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VVS to VS clarity. Signed and numbered to the pin fitting. Condition: Very nice workmanship, overall in very good condition.
