RUBELLITE, RUBY AND DIAMOND RING

Set with an inverted oval rubellite weighing approximately 25.70 carats, within a scalloped surround pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, flanked by calibré-cut rubies, accented on the edges with brilliant-cut diamonds, the rubies and diamonds together weighing approximately 1.35 and 1.00 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rubellite is of strong, slightly purplish red colour, with good brilliance and clean to naked eyes. Under 10x loupe, there are a few small natural inclusions and a small surface line opening on side close to the claws, which are not seen in normal distance. Calibré-cut rubies on shank are of intense purplish red to red colour, eye clean. Diamonds are probably of I to J colours, VS to SI1 clarity. Condition: Impressive size and colour / clarity quality of rubellite, overall the ring is in very good condition.
