Description
Designed as a robot, the body decorated with an inverted amethyst and topaz weighing approximately 13.00 and 6.50 carats respectively, the limbs set with calibré-cut rubies, amethyst, cabochon moonstones, citrines, and diamonds, accented by a cabochon emerald-set eye, further enhanced by a brilliant-cut diamond-set antenna, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, pendant fitting, signed.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the centre amethyst is of medium light purple colour and two oval amethyst set to the feet are of light purple colour, Emerald-cut blue topaz set in the abdomen is of medium, intense sky blue colour. Two small cabochon citrines set to the hands are of medium, golden yellow colour. The calibré-cut rubies are of strong, pinky red colour. All these coloured gems are very clean to naked eyes. Two cabochon moonstones on shoulders are colourless and transparent, displaying typical bluish pillowy sheen. Cabochon emerald to the head is of medium green colour, eye clean. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.50 carat, are about J to K colours, VS clarity. Signed to the reverse.
Condition: Whimsical piece, both arms and legs are articulated. With pendant fitting, the brooch can also be worn as pendant.
