Description
- Pepper approximately 45.10 x 14.70 x 8.35 mm; lavender jadeite cabochon approximately 11.40 x 10.20 x 7.00 mm.
The highly translucent bright green jadeite carved as a pepper, surmounted by an oval lavender jadeite cabochon, decorated to the support with brilliant-cut diamonds; accompanied by a chain necklace spectacle-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and a black cord accented with a diamond-set bail, length approximately 450 and 550 mm respectively, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the carved jadeite pepper is highly translucent to almost semi-transparent, of bright and sweet, medium-soft green colour. Upon illumination, there are white spotty inclusions, particular to the reverse, but generally not noticeable to the front in normal distance. The lavender jadeite cabochon has good translucency, of intense mauve colour, with nice thickness. Diamonds set on the link-chain and rondelle altogether weighing approximately 1.00 carat, are about G to H colours, VS to SI1 clarity.
Condition: Traditional jadeite carving pendant, in mint condition.
