Description

Set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 2.04 carats, flanked on both sides with a brilliant-cut diamond each weighing 0.50 carat, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the shoulders, mounted in platinum.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Gubelin report, the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of colour and Pigeon's Blood colour. Please refer to the report for details. in our opinion, the ruby is of medium to intense red colour, slightly included to the naked eye. Under 10x loupe, there is a shallow cavity on the pavilion which is not noticeable to naked eyes. The side diamonds are accompanied by GIA reports, each of 0.50 carats, E colour, VS1 and VVS2. Please refer to the reports for details. Condition: In very good condition, as good as new.

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 0809217, dated 6 October 2008, stating that the 2.04 carat ruby is natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating, this colour variety of ruby may also be called " Pigeon's Blood Red " in the trade; also accompanied by GIA reports numbered 16179648 and 16364831, dated 6 July and 28 September 2007 respectively, stating that the two 0.50 carat diamonds are both E colour, VS1 and VVS2 clarity respectively.
