Description
- Huaigus diameter and thickness approximately 14.80 to 14.85 and 5.90 to 6.20 mm; leaves approximately 17.65 x 13.80 x 3.65 and 18.25 x 12.65 x 3.80 mm.
The first pair each suspending a translucent jadeite huaigu of lavender colour, surmounted by a brilliant-cut diamond-set cap and hook, highlighted by oval and pear-shaped amethysts; the second pair each set with a translucent jadeite leaf of rich green colour, decorated with rose- and brilliant-cut diamond leaves and scrolls, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the lavender jadeite huaigu are translucent, of medium soft mauve hue upon incandescent lighting. Cabochon and faceted amethysts are of strong purple colour, eye clean. Two jadeite 'leafs' are translucent, of rich green to medium light emerald green colour. Part of the two jadeite appear slightly darker hue upon close and careful check. The diamonds are generally of H to I colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Both earrings have versatile and sweet designs, in mint condition.
