CORAL, TSAVORITE GARNET AND DIAMOND BROOCH AND A MATCHING RING

The brooch designed as a Chrysanthemum flower, the petals finely carved in coral, width and thickness measuring approximately 60.90 x 29.42 mm respectively, accented by ribbons and leaves pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, enhanced by tsavorite garnets, and a coral flower bud measuring approximately 11.84 x 11.49 mm; and the ring modelled as a Peony, the flower head carved with coral measuring approximately 26.82 x 24.03 x 13.76 mm, embraced by pavé-set diamond leaves, to a stylised shank, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the coral 'chrysanthemum' on brooch is of medium orange-pink colour, fused with white patches. The small coral 'flower bud' is of intense orangy red colour. The coral 'flower' on ring is about light orange-pink colour. Diamonds together weighing approximately 3.15 carats, are about J to K colours, SI clarity. Tsavorite garnets on brooch together weighing approximately 0.85 carat, are of medium, intense grass green colour, eye clean. Condition: Very fine carvings, lively replicas of nature, both in excellent condition.
