Description

Comprising: a necklace set at the front with a twisted cord element and two yellow gold fringe tassels, highlighted with circular- and single-cut diamonds, French assay marks, length approximately 380mm; a brooch of firework inspiration, set with circular-cut diamonds and rubies, one stone deficient, French assay and maker's marks, both circa 1950; and a brooch designed as a rooster, the textured yellow gold highlighted with circular-cut sapphires, similar and single-cut diamonds, circa 1960.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeite or ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Necklace: French assay marks for gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.20 carats. Some tassel links could benefit to be secured. Minor scratches and tarnish to metal commensurate with age and wear. In good condition. Firework brooch: French assay marks for gold, numbered 2785. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.00 carats, generally H-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Rubies well matched, minor nicks and abrasion. Tarnish to gold at the back of the brooch. In good condition. Roaster brooch: stamped 750 for gold. Sapphires well matched, with typical crystal inclusions. In good condition.
