Description

The case with mirrored lid surmounted by an open work panel depicting birds and flowers studded with circular-cut sapphires, opening to reveal a powder compartment, measurements approximately 75 x 60 x 12mm, together with a lipstick holder en suite, both signed Boucheron Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks, two pochettes, circa 1950;  the ring set at the top with a cluster of circular-cut sapphires, size 47, indistinct French assay and maker's marks; each ear clip designed as a stylised tied knot set with a fancy-shaped diamond, brilliant-, single and rose-cut stones.

Condition

Powder box and lipstick holder: French assay marks for gold and silver, indistinct maker's marks, signed Boucheron Paris, numbered 815012 and 875012 respectively. Sapphires overall well matched, with typical inclusions (some surface reaching), one stone chipped on lipstick holder. Scratches and tarnish to the metal commensurate with age and wear. In good condition. Sapphire ring: Stamped with French assay marks for gold. Sapphires overall well matched, good colour saturation, with typical crystal inclusions (some surface reaching) minor nicks and abrasion to facet junctions. Signs of wear to the metal. In good condition. Earclips: stamped 750 for gold. Diamonds bright and lively. The fancy-shaped rose-cut diamonds are J colour and SI-I1 clarity. Minor scratches to metal. In good condition.
