Condition

The paper is affixed to the mat along the upper edge. The upper and left edges are deckled. There are handling smudges throughout the paper—possibly done by the artist. There are two fingerprint stains on the lower edge. The paper is slightly yellowed, specially the areas around the figures, most likely from a spray fixative. There are three small scuffs on the upper right quadrant, about 2 in. from the edge of the mat. The lower left quadrant shows two whitened areas possibly from an attempt to clean the surface of the paper. There is a more visible smudge to the charcoal, 4 in. from the upper left edge. There is also a patch, about 1/2 in. in diameter, 1 in. from the upper right edge.
