Please note that this lot is incorrectly dated in the catalogue. The correct date is 1990.
The canvas is unlined and well stretched. The surface is uneven with some areas of impasto. There are frame abrasions to all four edges, most of which have been retouched, perhaps by the artist himself. The lower part of the right edge has some craquelure in the area where the canvas hit the stretched from the reverse. Here does not appear to be any nicks to the paint layer in the composition. Furthermore, there are some areas of craquelure within the composition. Overall, it is in very good condition.
