Condition

The canvas is unlined and loosely stretched. There is some buckling on the lower right corner. The surface of the work is uneven because of the technique of collage used by the artist. The collage consists primarily of paper and paint. Because of this, there are creases from the paper throughout the work resulting in some instances in minor to medium sized tears in some instances. It is hard to gage if the tears are intentional or damage to the surface. There is a 1 in. area of paintloss in the center part of the right edge of the painting. There is some craquelure surrounding the spot. Overall, the work is in good condition and there are no signs of inpainting under UV light inspection.
