Condition

The sculpture is in very good condition. The polished onyx displays a distinctive network of veining of various colors that is inherent in the stone. It has a translucent polished surface with no significant scratches or abrasions evident. There is evidence of a few areas of dirt that can be seen trapped in some of the grains of the stone particularly on the figure's thighs. The sculpture is structurally sound.
