Condition

This painting on copper is in surprisingly good condition, considering the period and the tendency for this kind of support to be unstable. The paint layer is very healthy There are a few retouches in the sky above the cloud and also below it, where some small specks have been retouched. The details of the figures and the elements in the composition are all very strongly preserved. In the word "Regina" in the upper center, there is a restoration which seems to encompass the "R" and the "E". This picture is in good condition and should be hung as is.
