Designed as an arched plaque applied with a carved bone relief depicting Juno in her chariot together with Cupid and her attributes of peacocks, to a background and surround decorated with black, white and turquoise enamel, suspending a fringe of drops similarly decorated, surmounted by seed pearls, signed Cartier New York, accompanied by a later fancy link chain similarly decorated between spacers set with pearls and circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 520mm, unsigned, part illustrated.

Bone carving with traces of dirt, slightly discoloured, repair to cupids bow, traces of glue. Slight losses to turquoise coloured enamel border. Pearls a silver grey bodycolour with medium lustre. Drops well articulated. Scratches to polished surfaces. In good condition. Later necklace: 16 diamonds weighing approximately 1.60 carats in total, bright, lively stones. Pearls with a creamy bodycolour, well matched. Traces of dirt to reverse. In very good condition.
