Description
The purse of floral decorated silk and black suede, to a clasp set with a sugarloaf carnelian within a surround of black enamel, accented with rose-cut diamonds, measurements approximately: length 180mm, width 130mm, depth from approximately 15mm to 20mm, maker's marks and numbered, accompanied by Cartier London box.
Condition
Stamped with French maker's mark and numbered 2464. Signed Cartier London to interior but very faded. Light scratches to clasp, slightly tarnished. Silk and suede worn consistent with age. Accompanied by a facimile of a letter dated 29th January sent by Patie from Awliscombe House, Honiton, Devon, EX14 0NP to Kathy. (Provenance of how the bag was gifted to current family.)
