Description
The rectangular silk brocade bag centring on a rectangular clasp with Persian inspired fastening accented with cabochon sapphires, opening to reveal a black silk and mirror, measurements approximately length 235mm, width 155mm, depth from 30mm to 40mm, stamped Cartier Made in France to interior, clasp numbered, French assay and rubbed maker's marks, accompanying box by Cartier Paris.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Numbered 2886 to inside of clasp closure. Signed Cartier Made in France to inside. Case signed Cartier, Paris wear to interior silk lining especially at hinge, dirt and scuffing to exterior. Bag later recovered, original suede bag accompanies lot. In very good condition
