Description
Comprising: a ring centring on an oval sapphire within a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, size J¼; together with a pair of earrings, each of pendant design set with a pear-shaped sapphire to a border and surmount set with brilliant- and circular-cut diamonds, post and butterfly fittings.
Condition
Ring: Partially stamped Plat for platinum. Sapphire a medium slightly violetish blue, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens, measuring approximately 10.8 x 7.9 x 4.45mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.19 carats, slightly abraded facet junctions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.00 - 1.20 carats, bright, lively stones. Evidence of resizing. Scratches to band consistent with wear.
Earrings: Sapphires a dark blue, well matched in size and colour. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.20 - 2.50 carats, bright, lively stones. Principal stones estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 carats each, estimated colour I-J, estimated clarity SI2. Well articulated. In good condition.
