Pencil, gouache, acrylic and pen on tracing paper



Comprising: fourteen images in one frame depicting hand coloured designs for gem-set animal jewels to be created using enamel, precious and semi-precious gemstones, some annotated and numbered.

Condition

All these jewels have been subsequently made into jewels by Cartier Embellished with white gouache accents representing diamonds. Further accents in red, green and blue gouache representing rubies, emeralds and sapphires respectively. The animals include: three birds, two tigers, a zebra, a Scottish terrier, a chameleon, a crocodile, a scorpion, a ladybird and fish, a duck and a mouse – all rendered to show the enamel work. In good condition. Frame Measurements Approximately: 960mm x 485mm, (image aperture size approximately 100mm x 85mm each)
