Description

Comprising: a necklace and bracelet designed as a series of interlocking geometric links highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, necklace inner circumference approximately 430mm, signed, maker's marks, case, bracelet length approximately 160mm, maker's marks, case.

Condition

Both stamped 18K for 18 carat white gold and with Swedish assay marks, maker's marks for Rey Urban. Necklace: Heavy, weighing approximately 303.7 grams, Estimated total diamond weight approximately 10.00 - 12.00 carats, bright, lively stones. Secure hook clasp. Scratches consistent with wear. Case for necklace but not for bracelet. Bracelet: Weighing approximately 79.4 grams. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.80 - 4.00 carats, bright, lively stones. Secure clasp, scratches consistent with wear. In very good condition.

Catalogue Note

Rey Urban founded "Silversmeden Rey Urban" while studying at the Swedish Royal College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1950. Rey was awarded his master certificate as a silversmith in 1955, and over the years, his work has won acclaim at various exhibitions in Sweden and abroad. Rey Urban's beautiful designs fuse classical craftsmanship with contemporary techniques. All manufacturing still takes place in-house and the business remains in the family to this day.
