Description
Collet-set to the centre with a cushion-shaped sapphire stated to weigh 8.94 carats, to a mount set with circular-cut tsavorite garnets, size N, several garnets deficient.
Condition
Accompanied by a CISGEM report no.50674 stating that the sapphire is natural with no indications of heating, estimated to weigh 9.10 carats.
Inscribed VILLA 8.94 probably representing the actual carat weight of the sapphire. CISGEM certificate with estimated weight whilst mounted. Sapphire with uneven saturation, nicks to facet junctions. Stone a little loose in the setting. Several green garnets deficient. Could benefit from a careful professional clean and restoration.
