Opaque watercolour heightened with gold on paper, inscribed in devenagari Shri Raja Shri Ranjit de-ji to the reverse.



 

Condition

small tear lower left and right corners of border with associated repair, minor areas of loss and rubbing including upper edge of sky, balustrade and hookah, a diagonal crease on lefthand side running across the base of Ranjit Dev turban and ear, with minor associated loss, background colour warmer, Ranjit Dev's jama darker in reality, unframed
