Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is stable shrinkage in the upper part of the composition. There are three 1cm lines of retouching in the lower left corner and another area of inpainting in the upper left corner. There are some pinhead-sized spots of retouching in the white pigment above the horse's right leg. There is a small area of inpainting in the lower part of the horse's left leg. There is some scattered retouching on the contours of the rider. Other than another small area of inpainting along the upper part of the right edge, this work is in good stable condition.
