Condition

Overall good condition. Wood eyes with circles of glitter are cut and glued into cardboard. They protrude on both sides of cardboard. Three pinholes on and along right side of face. 10 pinholes obscured by mat along extreme bottom edge. Additional, smaller scattered pinholes. Some wear to deckled edges and corners. Newsprint is lifting, slightly curled and folded at top edge, lifting at bottom edge of newsprint sheets. A few small tears and soft rippling to newsprint. Small amount of flaking and associated loss to upper left eye lid. Faint creases in cardboard: vertical crease along upper right side of face, a more visible, horizontal crease at lower right edge at boy's shoulder (with some associated loss), and along bottom edge various horizontal creases. Faint, scattered scratches.
