Condition

The panel is sound. There is a varnish over the majority of the work that prevents UV light fully penetrating to the surface. Apart from a small nailhead-sized spot of retouching above the centre of the lower edge and some craquelure to the thicker areas of pigment, this work appears to be in good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate, although the colours are slightly deeper in the original.
