Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is extensive craquelure to the paint surface, particularly to the thicker areas of pigment, with some pinhead-sized associated paint losses, most notably a 0.5cm. area of paint loss in the upper left quadrant. Apart from two small holes in the support at the centre of the upper edge and a further small hole in the support at the upper right edge, this work is in fairly good condition.
Colours: There is less red and the colours are more subtle in the original.
