Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is a 1cm. sq. spot of retouching to the centre of the right edge, with an associated nailhead-sized spot of retouching, and another nailhead-sized spot of retouching to the left just above it. There are some specks of retouching towards the lower right corner and some small spots of retouching running along the lower edge to cover frame rubbing. There is a 1.5cm. sq. area of fluorescence, probably pigment, to the centre of the left edge. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from a slightly uneven varnish, this work is in very good condition. Colours: The colours are richer and fresher in the original.
