Condition
The canvas is not lined.
RECTO: There is a layer of varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate but there appears to be a long line of old retouching running vertical to the centre of the work and another area of retouching in the lower right quadrant, visible under UV light. This work is in good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate, although the colours are overall more lively in the original
VERSO: There is a 5cm. horizontal line of retouching and two further vertical lines of retouching above and below the centre of the left edge. There is a line of retouching running along the upper right edge. All retouching is visible under UV light. This work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration.
