The panel is sound. There is a 1 by 2cm. area of retouching to the mudflat to the right of the channel and another spot of retouching with some tiny associated strokes of retouching to the red sailboat in the channel. There are two 10cm. parallel vertical lines of retouching to either side of the channel, the left one with some associated horizontal strokes of retouching, and some small horizontal lines of retouching to the water in the channel addressing craquelure. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from some scattered craquelure, this work is in fairly good condition.
