Condition
The canvas is wax-lined. There is a nailhead-sized spot of retouching towards the lower right corner and a 1cm. line of retouching to the left of her face. Both retouchings are visible under UV light. There is some paint shrinkage and light craquelure at intervals throughout and a light stretcher mark visible, which is horizontal to the right centre. This work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although slightly less red in the original.
