Condition

The movement is running, however the leap year indicator is out of position and will need to be adjusted. The calendar appears to advance properly otherwise. The dial is in nice condition with no surface marks. The case shows only light wear with some very light scuffs to the back. Overall the watch is very nice. The strap of this watch contains endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Certificate of Origin dated February 2002, Extract from the Archives confirming production in 2001 and sale on October 9th of that year. Together with booklets, red leather folder, white gold and wooden setting pin, fitted wooden presentation box and outer packaging.

Production of Ref. 5059 began in 1998 and was discontinued in 2006. Its combination of perpetual calendar and retrograde date functions, as well as the much-loved Officer-style case, has made this an increasingly popular model among collectors.
