Condition

Automatic movement is running, date advancing and other functions appear fully operational while cataloguing. Dial looks nice and clean. Case and buckle with very light signs of wear. Case back retains the Patek Philippe service sticker. Overall appears in excellent condition. Mvt numbered 1958690 and case numbered 4128255. ** The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices further information**.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a setting pin, Instruction Manual, booklets in leather folder and a winding presentation box with outer card box. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1999 with white dial and 10 roman numerals. Its subsequent sale on August 27th, 2001.

Production of this model, REF. 5059, began in 1998 and was discontinued in 2006. Its combination of perpetual calendar and retrodgrade date functions, as well as the Officer-style case, has made this an increasingly popular model among collectors. According to our research, approximately 200 examples were produced in platinum.
