• cal. CH27-70Q manual winding nickel lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 24 jewels, Gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 8 positions • silvered dial, applied indexes, apertures for day and month, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds combined with 24-hour indication, 30-minute register combined with leap year indicator and date combined with aperture for moon-phases • scooped bezel, screw-down sapphire crystal display back • with an 18k yellow gold PP bracelet and unique clasp • case, dial, movement, bracelet and clasp signed, Certificate of Origin, spare case back, setting pin, leather folder and presentation case  

Condition

Manual winding movement running, calendar functions are advancing and chronograph is in perfect working order. Dial is in excellent condition. Case and bracerlet appear to be in unsed condition but case might have been gently polished once, but hallmark is still clearly visible. Overall the watch is in excellent condition and the watch has been serviced by Patek Philippe in August 2009.

Catalogue Note

One of the rare features of this timepiece its clasp. It was specially made by Patek Philippe for the owner as the design of this clasp makes the closing of the bracelet much easier than those featured on standard bracelets. According to our research, this is the first time this watch has appeared at auction.
