Condition

Manual winding movement running and minute repeater chiming while cataloguing. Chiming is rich in tone and accurately paced. Dial in good condition although there is a tiny group of little scuffs in the centre of the dial, but this is minor. Case appears to be in almost unused condition, a little bit of tarnishing to the bezel but this can be removed easily. Hallmarks to the side of the case and the lug are sharp. Overall the watch is in very good condition and is a beautiful example of the reference.

Catalogue Note

The pink gold case enhances the acoustic properties of this minute repeating watch and creates a resonance of unrivalled clarity and purity. The extra flatness of the case further enhances the resonance, producing truly exquisite tones from within its classically-styled case.
It is believed that only a few Ref. 4261 such as the present model were manufactured and have survived over the years.
