Movement appears to be complete and will just run for a few seconds but will require full service and overhaul. The catch to cuvette is broken and will need repair. The edge of the enamel scene with losses and chips, small scratches to the surface of the rest of the scene. Some small chips and losses to the bezels and borders.

William Ilbery (1780-1839) is well known as a fine maker of watches for the Chinese market, indeed, G.H. Baillie credited him with introducing the style of watch known as "la montre Chinoise". Many of his watches had finely engraved movements and incorporated the duplex escapement, the cases of Ilbery's watches are frequently decorated with fine enamel scenes and embellished with pearls.
