- TWO GOLD AND ENAMEL FANTASY WATCHESCIRCA 1830/50
- length 62 mm / 41 mm
• A: gilt cylinder movement • concealed white enamel dial with key winding hole • two stems with paste-set leaves terminating with two cherries, one concealing a watch, the other a perfume bottle • B: gilt cylinder movement • concealed white enamel dial with winding mechanism, hands adjusted through bezel • paste-set branch with three apples on stalks, the central apple concealing a watch • pin back with hallmarks
Condition
A: movement not running on the day of the cataloguing, overhaul is recommended. Clean enamel dial in good condition with later hands. Small chip to the enamel on the left-hand cherry, and enamel further damaged in two different areas on the right-hand cherry.
B: movement not running on the day of the cataloguing, overhault is recommended. Enamel dial in good condition. Little chip on green leaf and on the upper part of the middle and right-hand apples.
