• manual winding damascened nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance • gilt guilloché dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds • 18k yellow gold slim case, translucent blue enamel bezel, white enamel border, back with translucent blue guilloché enamel radiating from a central floret, bow with blue and white enamel • dial signed, case further hand stamped with Cartier numbers • Cartier presentation case
Condition
Movement not running on the day of the cataloguing, would require a service. Dial nicely aged, with spots at 2, 3, 4 and 5 o'clock. Hour hand is broken, subsidiary hand and glass missing. The blue enamel engine-turning on the back of the case is lightly scuffed, but retains excellent definition overall. The bezel in white and blue enamel is in very good condition. Overall the watch retains its original patina. Case numbered 2957.
