Condition
Omega confirms that the movement did not originate with this watch and is from a different production series. The movement is running and the chronograph is functioning, however it might requre service soon. It is numbered 32847991. The dial appears to be in nice overall condition with some ligth spotting throughout. The luminescent batons have aged and the hands are dirty. The case shows general wear with some signs of polishing. The outside of the back is rubbed. Overall this is a very nice example of a rare watch.

Catalogue Note
Launched in 1975, this limited edition Ref. 145.022 was released to commemorate the achievement of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. The model features the mission insignia on the dial, in blue and red, and engraved on the outside of the case back.
The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project was the first mission where NASA astronauts rendez-voused in space with Soviet cosmonauts and the first joint mission of the two space agencies. Today it is seen as the symbolic end to the so-called Space Race and the beginning of the multi-national era of scientific space exploration.
