- A RARE PLATINUM DIAMOND-SET WATCH WITH CONCEALED GUILLOTINE DIALCIRCA 1920
- diameter 45 mm
* movement stamped twice with the seal of Geneva, 18 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance * silvered dial concealed beneath guillotine-style shutters * slim case, push-button for shutters at 6 o'clock, diamond-set band and pendant, monogrammed case * dial signed Cartier, case signed HNC, case and movement numbered * total diamond weight approximately 1.66 cts
Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is very nice with no visible imperfections. The case shows light surface scuffs throughout, and the case back is monogrammed JAL.
The movement and inside of the case back are both numbered 69274. The inside of the case back is signed HNC for Haas Neveux & Cie.
There are a total of 98 diamonds to the band, pendant and pusher.
