Copper plate is flat. Overall paint retention seems quite good and the picture presents a strong image. No major repairs visible to the naked eye. Under U.V. a thick milky varnish is visible, rendering any later retouches virtually impossible to read. One, small loss around knuckles but not significant. Small scratch under eye. A new varnish could help benefit the painting but overall in nice condition.
