Condition

Single flat panel, beveled on right and left sides. Overall, painting presents a lovely image. Some thinness visible in sky, water and rocks where under drawing shows through slightly. Unsure if this is due to abrasion or thin application of paint. U.V. light reveals a thick, milky varnish, making a precise reading of subtle repairs difficult. The painting is however in very good condition. Only a few very small retouchings are visible, mainly limited to the sky. Painting is a bit dirty, but as stated, is very well preserved. In a carved and painted wood frame with minor abrasions.
