Condition
In generally good condition. Several areas of retouching evident: a vertical line at the left edge extending from top to bottom edges (mostly in the background and partially through the candle), a horizontal line just above the figure's head extending almost to the left edge, two more vertical patches extending out from the figure's shoulder and right eye respectively (both in the background), several patches in the background at upper right, a 1 inch horizontal dash of inpainting in the figure's torso, a 2 inch line along the bottom edge at right (to address frame abrasion). Minor frame abrasion at left edge bottom and in the upper right corner. A small abrasion with minute associate pigment loss to the top of the figure's head. UV: above mentioned retouching flouresces under ultra-violet.
