Description
Old European-cut, single-cut and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 17.45 carats, mounted in platinum, necklace signed Tiffany & Co., pendant later added, length 15 inches.
Condition
Good general condition. Several links appear to have been later-added near the clasp to lengthen the necklace. The piece is a "marriage" of two elements: the necklace, circa 1925, is signed Tiffany & Co.; the associated pendant, circa 1915, is unsigned. Set with 332 old European-cut, single-cut and baguette diamonds; approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity with the occasional I clarity. The largest old European-cut in the pendant is approximately 1.60 carats. 76 calibré-cut emeralds: square-cuts on the necklace, French-cuts on the pendant. One square-cut is missing. Chips and abrasions to the French-cuts. One of the French-cuts appears to be held in-place by colorless epoxy. Fitted with a later-added pendant hook.
