Description
Cushion-shaped rubies weighing 6.29 and 6.41 carats, triangular-shaped, marquise-shaped and round diamonds weighing approximately 5.75 carats, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier.
Condition
Good condition. The ruby pictured at left is medium pinkish red and moderately included; the ruby at right is a shade deeper and moderately to heavily included. 8 triangular-, 10 marquise- and 16 round-cut diamonds; approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 40746 A and B stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, no geological evidence of heat, insignificant clarity enhancement. According to the AGL report there is no evidence of heat treatment, but there is insignificant oil enhancement. Please note that although they are signed "CARTIER" on the base of the clip backing, the authenticity of the signatures has not been confirmed.
