Description
Set with 5 cultured pearls measuring approximately 6.2 to 5.8 mm., within octagonal links, joined and completed at the terminals by box-links, set with a total of 106 old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 7.00 carats, mounted in platinum, length 63/8 inches.
Condition
Good condition. Minor spots of gold solder to reverse. Glue residue to the underside of two pearls. With loops for a safety chain (chain missing). The pearls are slightly more silvery than indicated by the catalogue illustration. With faint purple and green overtones, waxy luster, light scratching and surface cracking; one with minor pitting. Diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity.
