Supporting a chased gold plaque of scrolling foliate design, set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing approximately 2.80 carats, a pear-shaped ruby weighing approximately 1.30 carats and small round rubies, supported on a gold chain decorated with 4 collet-set cushion-shaped rubies, length 17 inches.
Condition
Rubies of a medium dark, purplish-red hue, moderately strong saturation of colour - slightly darker than the illustration in the catalogue. Light to moderately included. Minor tarnishing to gold plaque and evidence of lead solder to connecting hoop of chain. In good condition.
