The rectangular hinged case applied all over with black enamel, the lid decorated in Chinese taste with a flowering tree set with small round turquoise and ruby cabochons and single-cut, baguette and fancy-shaped diamonds, the sides bordered in baguette diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 2.50 carats, the interior with fitted mirror and powder compartment, 33/8 by 1¾ inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris, numbered 33376, 2 turquoise cabochons missing. 

Condition

The box is 18 karat white gold, the decoration on the lid as well as the side diamond-set segments are platinum. There are 2 cabochon turquoise petals missing. The inside has a fitted mirror and a hinged powder compartment.
