Condition

Case is numbered 6703, 6501 and an indistinct number 13813 (original Cartier movement serial number) along with assay mark for platinum. Buckle is not signed but is stamped with maker's mark EJ in a lozenge, assay mark for 18 karat gold, and numbered 998. The manual movement currently running. Movement signed Agasiz Watch Co. Swiss. 15 Jewels, 6 adjustments, serial number 206994, case numbered 6703 and reference number 6501 and Swiss platinum stamp. The Agasiz high grade movement is a late replacement of original Cartier movement, the same size 8L, it is in running condition, but the crystal being hand cut is not precise, has a poor dust sealing, very dirty movement and readjusting. Diamonds are bright and lively stones. Minor scratches to polished surfaces of dial consistent with age and wear.
