The cabochon emerald weighing approximately 5.25 carats, vertically bordered by 2 pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, in a gold swirled frame, the tapering band decorated further with panels of carved wood, in 18 karat gold, size 6ΒΌ. 

Condition

Stamped 750, Italian marks. Emerald of a light, slightly bluish-green hue, eye clean to lightly included. Ring is open ended at the back and the gold terminal shows a partial signature (Vag). Estimated colour of diamonds I/J, estimated clarity SI/I1. Ring cannot be re-sized. In good condition.
