Catalogue Note
Schloss Schillersdorf in Moravia was purchased by Salomon de Rothschild (1774-1855) in 1842. Constructed in the 18th century, it was remodelled between 1842-1855 probably by Gabriel-Hippolyte Destailleur. Upon Salomon's death in 1855, the house passed to his son Anselm Salomon (1803-1874).
